In the Fall of 2017, I started recording my first full length solo album at Tangerine Studios in Saint Paul, MN with my good friend Randon Nelson as the sound engineer and producer. As of July, 2018, I'm pleased to say that we wrapped. I'm slowly releasing it in pieces over multiple platforms, but as of now would like to send my sincerest thank you's to Collin Malaney for lending me his voice on harmonies, as well as Meg Decker. They are both friends of mine that I met during my college years. I would also like to thank Julia Floberg for being one of the most pleasant-to-work-with studio musicians I've ever come across. All of her Cello parts were created the day of tracking, and recorded in under four hours without prior rehearsal.

There are many other people that I have to thank and I will do so in time, but lastly for now I have to give a shout out to my cousin Steven Brandt, who really helped me out with all of the photography for the new album and updated web pages. The sense of rawness you might hear in these new songs comes from a live tracking method used where we recorded acoustic guitar and vocals simultaneously. No click track was incorporated. This made the layering of other instruments slightly more complicated, but gave us the ebb and flow we desired as well as an almost live feeling and sound.

I hope you enjoy these songs. I finally feel as If I wrote something honest and personal...stories of my emerging adulthood.
